FAMILY IMMERSIONS

ABOUT FAMILY IMMERSIONS
To complement our drop-off Signature Immersions designed for children alone, Family Immersions invite adults and young people to dive deeply into host cultures together. Over one action-packed week in, families move beyond sightseeing and into genuine cultural participation, navigating daily life in ways that make a place seen, felt, and understood.
Every itinerary is built around the belief that children learn differently when they’re engaged with all their senses, and that parents and children discover something unexpected when they explore the unfamiliar side by side. Family Immersion isn’t a vacation. It’s an extension of how your family learns, grows, and sees the world.
A RESPONSE TO YOU
Family Immersions were built in reponse to a frequent question we’ve received: “Can I join (this activity) with my child?” Whether its a cacao workshop in Mexico or exploration of local markets in Peru, parents are curious too! Through Family Immersions, not only do you explore together with your child, but you experience the world in community with other worldschooling families.
Unlike our Signature Immersion, this is not a drop-off program. Rather, each family member’s fee opens doors to deeply memorable, culturally-rich activities. This is not just a place to play and talk together — Family Immersion is culturally-rich, educational, and deeply connected to Peruvian history, like all of our programming.
While these patterns emerge in each host country, we run Family Immersions in each place differently, tapping into the unique culture and opportunities that abound. In 2027, we offer Family Immersions in Peru and Mexico. Read on to learn more.
