Several times throughout the program, parents are invited to participate or observe activities. Parents may help with a cooking lesson, for example, or be invited to socialize during an afternoon at a park. In addition, we schedule in a 30-minute drop-off window each morning during which parents can help their child settle in and prepare for the day.

However, first and foremost, our worldschooling hubs are designed for our child participants. We do a lot of work to create exceptional learning experiences for them, and we also work hard to build community between participants through thoughtful Morning and Closing Circles and paired activities. Our hubs are designed to give parents a break to explore on their own, work online, or rest and relax. For these reasons, parents are not included in many hub activities.
